SUMMARY:NH Historical Society Workshop - Researching Women in the Revolution
DESCRIPTION:Genealogy Workshop: Researching Women in the American Revolution\nSaturday\, April 11\, 2026\, 1 to 4 p.m.\nMen were certainly not the only ones affected by—or involved in—the American Revolution. Women boycotted British goods\, produced home-spun cloth and supplies for soldiers\, and even took to the battlefield on occasion. This workshop\, led by Melanie McComb from American Ancestors\, looks at women’s role in the fight for American Independence and how to research your female ancestors during this period. The cost of this workshop is $40 for New Hampshire Historical Society members and $55 for nonmembers. Space is limited\, and registration is required. Register through Humanitix. \n\nAt the conclusion of the workshop\, NHSAR\, NHSODAR and NH C.A.R. will provide a short presentation on the organizations and be available for Q & A.  SAR should have members in both modern civilian and colonial attire.  NOTE: Confirming attendance at the SAR presentation does not provide access to the workshop. \nConfirm Attendance: \nPlease enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form. Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.Name *FirstLast \n March Name /\n \n \n Email *21 March WorkshopI will attend - Colonial DressI will attend - Modern CivilianI cannot attend11 April WorkshopI will attend - Colonial DressI will attend - Modern CivilianI cannot attendComments / NotesSubmit
