SUMMARY:NHSAR Monthly Event Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Events Committee\, established in August 2023\, helps coordinate and communicate all activities of the Society\, ensuring a balanced mix of business meetings\, social gatherings\, public events\, and service opportunities. The committee maintains a rolling calendar\, reviews event requests\, supports outreach with partner organizations such as DAR and CAR\, and serves as a central hub for event information and communication to our membership. \nCommittee meetings are hybrid format.  Meetings in odd numbered months are held electronically. Meetings in the even number months are hybrid format.  Typically the in person meeting is held at the Stark House in Manchester and others can attend electronically. SUMMARY:Color Guard Drill
DESCRIPTION:Role: We will practice marching\, the manual of arms\, and firing. We will be demonstrating for the public and answering questions. \n  \nUniform: Militia preferred (hunting shirt or civilian coat with any color waistcoat and breeches\, any color cravat\, any color stockings\, and any civilian cocked hat). Regimental is also acceptable (brown or blue regimental coat with white waistcoat and breeches\, black cravat or neck stock\, gray stockings\, and military tricorn hat). Cartridge boxes\, bayonets\, and canteens filled with water should be worn.
