General Henry Knox – Wreath Ceremony
July 26, 2025 @ 10:00 am – 3:30 pm
An annual remembrance service honoring the life of Henry Knox at his grave site in the Thomaston Village Cemetery on Elm Street, followed by a celebration of his life at Montpelier – General Henry Knox Museum. The event is jointly hosted by the Thomaston Historical Society and the General Henry Knox Museum.
This year will include the unveiling and dedication of a new sign at his grave site.
- Muster: 9:30 am – Coordination of presentation of Colors and musket salute with Knox Regiment, MASAR Color Guard.
- Guardsmen Uniform: Regimental if you have it or militia.
- Compatriots Uniform: Class B (Blazer with shirt & tie) SAR name badge or other insignia.
