Induction Ceremony

Welcome to our Seven New Compatriots

At our George Washington Birthday Meeting on February 21, 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming Earl Sholley, Bob Born, Paul Richardson, Caleb Ellsworth, Craig Donais, Stephen Warfield and Greg Salts into the New Hampshire Society of the Sons of the American Revolution community.

The induction ceremony honored these compatriots for their proven lineage to American Revolutionary patriots and welcomed them into the NHSSAR community, which is dedicated to preserving the legacy of our nation’s founding.

NHSAR President Richard Baynes led the induction ceremony. During the oath, the inductees held antique Revolutionary War–era muskets—symbolic reminders of their ancestral heritage, the sacrifices made by the patriots of the Revolution, and the shared history that connects us all. These artifacts also underscore the importance of preserving history and educating future generations.

Following the oath, compatriots Hans Jackson and Doug Wood presented each new member with the SAR rosette – our official emblem featuring the blue and buff colors of General George Washington’s uniform. It’s a symbol of membership, heritage, and pride, and we hope our new compatriots will wear it often.

To our new members: welcome! We are thrilled to have you with us and look forward to seeing you at events, meetings, ceremonies, and volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Your presence strengthens our mission to preserve and share the legacy of the American Revolution.

We’re proud to have you as part of the NHSSAR community!
