Annual ceremony to commemorate Lafayette’s service during the Revolutionary War and visits to New Hampshire in 2025. NHSAR CG to present the Colors and fire a musket salute.
Stark’s Company, NHSAR Color Guard will be hosting a cartridge rolling workshop. Opportunity to: Cut cartridge papers to correct dimensions Roll cartridge tubes and seal end Load tubes with black powder in accordance with NHSAR and NASAR Safety Manuals. All materials will be provided.

The ceremony was originally scheduled last February. The ceremony will also incorporate the commemoration of 250th Anniversary of the founding of the Army along with a side trip toe the Stark Cemetery to honor Caleb Stark’s service at the Battle of Bunker Hill.
Ecumenical Service & Procession – 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Service at St. Francis De Sales Church followed by a procession to the Old Burying Ground where the traditional three-volley musket salute will be conducted. NHSAR is supporting The American Friend of Lafayette in commemorating the Bicentennial of Lafayette’s visits to New Hampshire towns. NHSAR Color Guard will be escorting the carriage, greeting Lafayette and providing the traditional three-volley musket salute. The general membership is encouraged to attend and represent NHSAR. Participation
