The Silver Henry Knox Achievement Medal is awarded to a Compatriot to recognize outstanding contributions, achievements, accomplishments, deeds, or effort that advances the mission, governance, programs, or activities of the New Hampshire Sons of the American Revolution. Dick earned the Silver Henry Knox Achievement Medal in April of 2024. This award of an Oak Leaf Cluster recognizes Dick’s ongoing service and accomplishments in support of the New Hampshire SAR’s mission to promote Patriotism, honor our Revolutionary War Ancestors and preserve history.
Although not appearing in colonial dress, Dick has consistently supported the Color Guard in numerous essential roles, including event planning and setup, serving as master of ceremonies, acting as a flag carrier, and stepping in wherever needed to ensure the success of Color Guard activities. His reliability, willingness to serve, and commitment to the organization exemplify the spirit of service honored by the Henry Knox Achievement Award.
