251 Anniversary of the Battles of Lexington & Concord
Members of Stark’s Company, NHSAR Color Guard proudly joined ranks with the Connecticut Line, CTSAR Color Guard to march in the Annual Concord Parade in Concord, Massachusetts, honoring our Patriot ancestors who stood against the British on April 19, 1775.

The parade wound its way through the town, proceeding to what is now known as Punkatasset Hill—the elevated position occupied by the colonial militia just north of the North Bridge. This historic route marked the ground where the militia assembled in defense of their liberties.
Upon entering Minute Man National Historical Park, the parade paused at the Minuteman Statue for a solemn service honoring both the Patriots and British Regulars who lost their lives that morning. Offering their traditional salute—“Huzzah!”—as they crossed the North Bridge, the unit then made its way from the park back into town.
