Manchester City Marathon

On November 9, 2025, the New Hampshire Sons of the American Revolution (NHSAR) continued their tradition of honoring veterans in a meaningful way—by firing the ceremonial shots that launched this year’s Manchester City Marathon and 5K.

Guardsmen Curtis Hermann, Brush Bradley, and Russell Cumbee along with prospective member Rob Sigmon, proudly represented the NHSAR by delivering the musket volleys that officially started both races. They were joined by Lois Hermann of the DAR, and Lydia Cumbee, whose support helped make the event a success.

The Millennium Running and The Manchester City Marathon have long demonstrated strong support for veterans, and the NHSAR was honored to participate in a celebration that unites community spirit with gratitude for those who have served our nation.
